​Celebra​ting CITRIC's 1st Anniversary 

​7th September 2021 

Researchers, faculty, and senior leadership all gathered in the auditorium to celebrate CITRIC's first anniversary. Dr Asad Ali, Associate Dean Research, introduced CITRIC and presented its one-year impact report which showed that despite the pandemic, CITRIC has created significant impact for many stakeholders. Showcasing CITIRC's success; Dr Shahzad Shamim presented the Deans Clinical Research Fellowship (DCRF) programme, followed by Dr Huba Atiq who presentied the Covid Tele-ICU project, and finally Dr Sarah Nadeem highlighted the role of the Centre for Clinical Best Practices (CCBP). Provost Carl Amrhein and President Firoz Rasul addressed the audience, reaffirming their support for the incubator and sharing their positive feelings surrounding the initiative. Dean Adil Haider wrapped up the ceremony with his encouraging remarks, and everybody proceeded outdoors for cake-cutting. All attendees were given t-shirts as souvenirs​.
