​Ethics Review Committee for Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts (ERC-SSHA)

ERC-SSHA is a global committee for research in Social Sciences Humanities and the Arts and therefore will accept applications from the faculty of IHD, GSMC, EAI, IED (EA and Pakistan) and SoTL.

This committee cuts across the different campuses of AKU in different countries and is a global committee.

Country Regulations

When called for, the committee will adhere to specific regulations of countries where it is operational. 

Review Process

Applications are made on standardized forms (see below) to the secretariat (see address below). Committee meetings are held once a month. Under particularly pressing circumstances, the committee may accept to expedite the process.

Members

The ERC-SSHA follows the general AKU-ERC guidelines and policy. The committee's members reflect the diversity of AKU regarding geographical location, gender and disciplines. It includes members from all AKU campuses​.
