The Department of Educational Development (DED) offers a wide range of courses and educational activities designed to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment practices across the health professions. Our programmes support faculty, trainees, and clinicians in developing essential skills in curriculum design, simulation-based education, assessment, professionalism, and educational leadership. Through workshops, short courses, and capacity-building initiatives, DED fosters continuous professional growth and contributes to strengthening the overall quality of education at AKU and beyond.
