The three-year Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education programme is designed for professionals who are keen to improve the quality of education by asking critical questions, designing innovative methods of inquiry, producing usable knowledge for education practitioners, policy makers and scholars.
Admissions are open for 2021-2022 cycle. The last date to submit the application is October 7, 2021.

Candidates who have at least two-years of full time teaching / research / leadership / educational development experience and have 18 years of qualification in “Education” including a Masters or equivalent degree with course and research work based on a minimum of 30 credits after 16 years of education can apply. A minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in MPhil / MS in Education / Equivalent degree is required.
Candidates are requested to provide 18-years of equivalence in Education from HEC. Please refer to the Teacher Education Roadmap in the Admission Information document for further clarification.
The University may request for additional documents to better understand and evaluate applicant’s eligibility as per University and regulatory body requirements.
