The Bachelor of Education programme at the Institute for Educational Development aims to build the capacity of teachers for the provision of meaningful and long-lasting learning experiences, and nurture empathetic and socially responsible teachers who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to aspire for an increasingly just and sustainable society. The duration of the programme will be one and a half-year for full-time students and up to three years for those joining the programme on part-time basis. Students will choose one of the following specialisations on offer: Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED) and Inclusive Education.
Admissions are open for the 2027–2028 admission cycle. The last date for submission of applications is January 5, 2027.
