The newly launched, Bachelor of Education programme at the Institute for Educational Development aims to build the capacity of teachers for the provision of meaningful and long-lasting learning experiences, and nurture empathetic and socially responsible teachers who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to aspire for an increasingly just and sustainable society. The duration of the programme will be one and a half-year for full-time students and up to three years for those joining the programme on part-time basis. Students will choose one of the following specialisations on offer: Mathematics, Science, English Social Studies and Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED).

Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 16-years of qualification in any discipline.
NOTE: The applicants are required to submit HEC attested educational documents and/or 16 years of equivalence, if applicable for their academic credentials from Higher Education Commission (HEC).
