Dermatology

Dermatology is an important branch of medicine dealing with the largest organ of the body “skin”. Disfigurement and discomfort associated with skin problems contributes to significant physical and psychological disabilities, and are the cause of approximately 24% of primary care visits.

The dermatology residency training programme at the Aga Khan University Hospital is a highly competitive, CPSP accredited, three-year training programme. It is designed to provide residents with a variety of clinical experiences, as well as exposure to expert teaching and research opportunities.

We combine the virtues of compassionate care, sound clinical judgment, and enriched technological resources. It provides a challenging, dynamic and multifaceted experience in an atmosphere that promotes intellectual stimulation and academic growth. Our talented faculty strives to develop experts in the care of skin disorders, training future dermatologists that can give quality of care as per international standards.
