Community Medicine

The Community Medicine residency programme aims to develop public health experts with a comprehensive knowledge of the sciences of Community Medicine and the skills and competence to apply this knowledge to a broad range of community health issues in the socio-economic, cultural, political and ethical context.​

It is the second residency programme initiated by ​the Department of Community Health Sciences after the Family Medicine Residency Programme. The Programme was initiated in January 1997 and is approved by the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan.​
