Metabolic
bone and mineral diseases represent important health problems in
Pakistan, which interest a diverse group of clinicians, surgeons and
medical scientists. A major limiting factor is the dearth of expertise
and knowledge for the interpretation of results for complex cases, and
the need to perform coordinated research efforts for meaningful impact
and outcome, rather than individual and scattered efforts.
