Child Development & Rehabilitation Centre

The Child Development and Rehabilitation Center (CDRC) plays a crucial role in addressing the needs of children with various developmental, behavioral, occupational and speech challenges.

CDRCs often provide comprehensive assessments to identify developmental delays, behavioral, occupational and speech challenges in children. Multidisciplinary teams of paediatricians, psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists collaborate to assess different aspects of a child's development.

Treatment and Intervention

Once a thorough assessment is conducted, CDRCs develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs. Treatment may involve therapeutic interventions, such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behavioral therapy. Early intervention is a key focus, as addressing challenges at an early age can have a significant impact on a child's overall development.

Behavioural Support

For children with behavioural challenges, CDRCs may offer behavioral interventions and counseling to address issues like ADHD or conduct disorders. Behavioral support can include strategies for parents and caregivers to manage and cope with challenging behaviors effectively.

Parental Guidance and Education

CDRCs often involve parents and caregivers in the intervention process, providing guidance and education on how to support their child's development at home. Parental involvement is crucial for the continuity of care and to reinforce therapeutic strategies outside the clinical setting. Overall, Child Development and Rehabilitation Centers play a vital role in promoting the optimal development and well-being of children facing a range of challenges, contributing to their integration into society and improved quality of life.
