Faculty of Arts and Sciences Library
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences Library and Learning Commons at Aga Khan University has been established with the aim to supports teaching, learning and research relating to the study of humanities, social sciences, and liberal arts. The Learning Commons is a modern furnished space and has been designed to provide a spacious yet conducive environment for carrying out collaborative and interactive work and activities as well as individual study opportunities related to academics, with air-conditioning, natural lighting, and large glass windows to provide a view overlooking the campus from the 12th floor of the University Centre of the Aga Khan University.
The covered area of the library is 14000 square feet to accommodate 110 users at a time. Library facilities include individual study carrels, group study rooms holding LED screens for multimedia purposes, computers to access library literature, glass boards for writing, storage lockers, high speed internet and ground outlets for charging devices.
