Research interests

Anjum is an international education specialist with strong experience of leading and managing large international research and development projects with partners in Low Income Countries such as Pakistan and Tanzania and those in High Income Countries such as Canada and the UK (E.g. Social Science and Humanities Research Council Canada SSHRC Award #890-210-0027 and Economic and Social Research Council UK Award ES/N010515/1). Her research interests are:
• Issues of social justice in education due to exclusion on the basis of language, gender, conflict or other factors
• Teaching and learning in mathematics classrooms in low income countries
