How to Apply
Admissions are currently open for 2019-2020 cycle. The last date to submit the application is May 16, 2019.
Candidates are required to apply online. For assistance in completing the online application, applicants are advised to go through the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) or Understand the Online Process.
Only in situations where the online application is not accessible, candidates may request for a paper-based application form by emailing the Admission Office at email@example.com.
Submitting Paper-Based Application
Following documents are required to be submitted with paper-based application:
BScN and Post-RN BScN Programmes
Completed paper application form
Two recent passport size colour photographs bearing your name and attestation on the back; for photographs specification, please review programme brochure
Attested photocopies of mark sheets/official transcripts/general certificates as entered on the form. All documents must be in A4 size
Birth certificate / Provisional certificate from school / Matric certificate
Copy of B Form/CNIC/NICOP for candidates applying from Pakistan or relevant pages of passport for overseas applicants
One attested copy of Domicile (Compulsory)
Applicants with overseas qualifications are required to obtain an equivalence certificate from IBCC. Admissions will not be finalised without equivalence certificates. (as applicable)
Last page signed by parent or guardian [applicable for paper application]
Original payment receipt of application fee.
Additional documents for Post RN-BScN Programme
Current RN Licensure of Pakistan Nursing Council or equivalent agency/authority
Letters of recommendation from at least 3 people. Please download reference form for Post RN-BScN from www.aku.edu/admissions/post-rnbscn. One of your referee’s must be your immediate supervisor or faculty and two others must be professionals you have known for at least 2 years (not relatives)
No Objection Certificate from employer / affiliated Hospital (refer to the eligibility requirements of the programme for details)
Attested copies of Work Experience Certificates to validate your statement in the application form.
A non-refundable application fee will be applicable as described below:

Cash, money orders, postal orders and personal cheques are not acceptable.
Mode of Payment
You may use following options to make payment. The original deposit slip / bank acknowledgement receipt should be uploaded on the AKU portal. Please do not upload the payment request slip.

2. University E-Payment Facility
Candidates may choose to pay fee online through a credit/debit card.
Please notify the Finance Office through email at firstname.lastname@example.org when making e-payment. Student's name, address, application tracking ID, amount, payment reference number and the purpose of payment should be clearly stated in the notification. The acknowledgement email received against e-payment must also be sent with the Application Form.
Note: it remains the responsibility of the candidate to complete the application requirements according to the instructions and time schedule. No reminders will be sent by the Admission Office. Once acknowledged, an application will not be returned.
Aga Khan University reserves the right to revoke admission and registration if an application form is discovered to be inaccurate or incomplete, or if supporting documents are discovered to be fraudulent. Any candidate who presents a fraudulent document in support of an application for admission may be identified to other universities and colleges.
For candidates submitting a paper based application; the application form together with the application fee and all required (attested) documents should be sent to the Admission Office through registered post or a reliable courier service to the following address:
