Annual Giving: Gifts to the University’s Annual Fund are used to support the highest and immediate priorities of the University, its Colleges, Schools and Institutes. Students, faculty, staff, and patients all benefit from gifts to the Annual Fund.
Capital Giving: AKU takes great pride in the quality and beauty of its buildings, facilities and campuses. Capital gifts can support the construction or renovation of academic and administrative buildings, hospitals and health care facilities, student residences, and university campuses. Capital gifts may be designated for specific building projects, or unrestricted for the use of day-to-day operations such as building and grounds maintenance.
Endowment Giving: Endowments provide permanent and secure income that support the priority of your choice. Scholarships for students, faculty salaries, research in a designated field and other priorities can all be supported through the establishment of an endowment or a contribution to an existing endowment. Only a portion of the interest earned on the funds in an endowment is spent each year, ensuring that the funds continue to grow and support your designated priority in perpetuity.

There are various options for making a tax-efficient gift or a donation that costs you nothing today.
