CIME, SPIE, and HOPES collaborated to conduct an IV and Catheterization Simulation Workshop at the HOPES SKILLS EXPO on February 17, 2024, at Karachi Medical and Dental College (KMDC).
The workshop attracted 60 learners from various institutions. Led by experienced nurses, interactive simulation exercises kicked off the workshop, providing hands-on learning opportunities. Following the simulation sessions, a comprehensive debriefing covered essential topics including indications, contraindications, proper placement, and sterility maintenance for IV and catheterization procedures.
Collaborations like this will advance medical education and foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning among aspiring healthcare professionals. Through such initiatives, we aim to equip students with essential skills and knowledge, ensuring they are ready to deliver high-quality patient care in the future.
