Introduction

Dr. Sana Zeeshan is an Associate Professor of Breast Surgery and Program Director of the Breast Surgery Fellowship at Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, where she serves as a consultant along with at its affiliated secondary hospitals. She completed her FCPS in general surgery followed by a 2-year fellowship in Breast Surgery from Aga Khan University. Following her fellowship, she acquired her European Board Qualification in Breast Surgery from Union of European Medical Specialists (UEMS), FACS from American College of Surgeons and FRCS from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. She also obtained a 2-year masters in breast oncology, aesthetics and reconstruction from University of Barcelona, Spain.

 Currently, she serves as a consultant breast surgeon and closely works with the hospital’s quality and patient safety department for improving patient care and experience while receiving treatment under breast surgery services. Dr. Zeeshan is also a certified advanced trauma life support trainer from American College of Surgeons and imparts training to medical personnel for undertaking lifesaving processes in trauma victims.
