Emergency Medicine Research and Grants

The Department of Emergency Medicine's research team is involved in many research activities, including clinical and community research projects, research teaching, and monthly webinars and seminars. Multiple trauma, injury, emergency, disaster, and climate change research projects have been conducted over the last few years, out of which 10 are currently ongoing.

Apart from conducting research, the team is actively involved in teaching research to the residents and helping faculty with their research queries. Monthly research sessions under the CME-certified Research Design, Method, and Proposal Development Course help residents and faculty members regularly update their research knowledge.

Moreover, the team puts together webinars, seminars, training, and workshops to advocate for research in emergency medicine and help interested participants with their research learning objectives.

The team includes the Director of Research, Research Instructors, Research Fellows, Statisticians, Research Associates, and Senior Research Assistants.
