What we do
ELE_net provides impactful solutions for the enhancement of English language skills required for study and work at AKU.
Why we do it
English is the official medium of communication at AKU, and a high level of English is needed for academic study and many work-related situations. This situation presents a serious challenge because English is not the first language of the vast majority of those who study and work at AKU. An insufficient command of English prevents students from fully benefiting from their studies; it also restricts faculty and staff from being as effective in their roles as they could be and hinders their career advancement. ELE_net is working to help enhance English language skills and remove this barrier to success.
Where we work
The ELE_net team is based in AKU campuses in Karachi, Dar es Salaam, Kenya and London. However, ELE_net services are not restricted to these locations because many of our courses and services are available online.
