​​This is a two and a half-year programme designed to provide senior registered nurses with an opportunity to upgra​de their dip​​​​loma qualification to degree level.

Admissions are open for 2023 ​admission cycle. The last date for submission of applications is March​ 31​.

Candidates are required to apply online. For ​​assistance in completing the online application, applicants are advised to go through the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) or Understand the Online Process.

Only in situations where the online application is not accessible, candidates are advised to call, email or visit the campus for any support that they need to complete the online application. 

Eligibility Criteria

Route A: EN-RN to Post-RN BScN
  • ​Form IV level of education with a minimum aggregate of Division III in the Ordinary
  • Certificate of Education with a “Credit” grade in the following mandatory subjects: English and Biology/Biological Sciences and a “Pass” grade in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics
  • Certificate of Registration in General Nursing (RN) with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council
  • At least two years of working experience as a Registered Nurse

Route B: RN to Post-RN BScN                                 

  • Form VI qualification with a Principal Pass in Biology/Biological Sciences in “A” Level.
  • Certificate of Registration in General Nursing (RN) with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.

  • At least two years of working experience as a Registered Nurse.
