This is a two and a half-year programme designed to provide senior registered nurses with an opportunity to upgrade their diploma qualification to degree level. It provides them an opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide holistic nursing care.
The programme offers need-based financial assistance.
Admissions have closed for 2026 admission cycle. The last date for submission of applications was March 27, 2026. For applicants who had already started their online application, the application portal will remain open until April 3, 2026 to complete the application.
Form IV level of education with a minimum aggregate score of C plain in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or Division II in Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE)
Must be a holder of Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) or Kenya Registered Nurse (KRN)
Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and hold a current practice license
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of practice experience
