How to Apply
Admissions are currently open for 2018-2019 cycle. The last date to submit the application is May 28, 2018. Candidates are required to apply online. For assistance in completing the online application form, applicants are advised to go through the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and Understand the Online Process.
Only in situations where the online application is not accessible, candidates may request for a paper based application form by emailing at email@example.com.
Submitting an Application
Please note that in either case, whether applying online or submitting the pre-printed application; a hard copy of the following documents must be couriered to the Admission Office.
The application will only be processed if received through courier to the Admission Office within the given time frame. Application must include:
Hard copy of the completed application form; either submitted online or paper based
Two recent passport size colour photographs bearing your name and attestation on the back; for photographs specification, please review
Programme Information Booklet
Attested photocopies of mark sheets/official transcripts/general certificates as entered on the form
Copy of 'B' Form/CNIC/NICOP for candidates applying from Pakistan or relevant pages of passport for overseas applicants
An extra envelope bearing your name, address and contact number. This envelope will be used to send the admit card to you
Original payment receipt of application fee
A non-refundable application fee will be applicable as described below:
Candidates applying from AKU residential countries*:

Cash, money orders, postal orders and personal cheques are not acceptable.
Mode of Payment
You may use following options to make payment. The original deposit slip / bank acknowledgement receipt should be sent along with the application form to the Admission Office. Please do not send the payment request slip.
1. Online Funds Transfer to University's Bank Account
Pakistani Currency: Candidates in Pakistan can pay through online deposit to any branch of the Soneri Bank using following banking details.

2. University E-Payment Facility
Candidates may choose to pay fee
online through a credit/debit card.
Please notify the Finance Office through email at
firstname.lastname@example.org when making e-payment. Student's name, address, application tracking ID, amount, payment reference number and the purpose of payment should be clearly stated in the notification. The acknowledgement email received against e-payment must also be sent with the Application Form.
3. Bank Draft
This option is available only for payments in Pakistani currency. The payment may be made by a demand draft/banker’s cheque/cashier’s cheque/pay order in favour of “The Aga Khan University”. This option is not available for payments in foreign currency.
Note: it remains the responsibility of the candidate to complete the application requirements according to the instructions and time schedule. No reminders will be sent by the Admission Office. Once acknowledged, an application will not be returned.
Aga Khan University reserves the right to revoke admission and registration if an application form is discovered to be inaccurate or incomplete, or if supporting documents are discovered to be fraudulent. Any candidate who presents a fraudulent document in support of an application for admission may be identified to other universities and colleges.
The completed online application (in PDF file) or paper based application, application fee should be sent by registered post, through a reliable courier service or by hand to the Admission Office.
The last date to receive applications in the Admission Office is May 28, 2018. There is no provision for processing applications after the closing date.
