Foundation and Corporate Giving

Teaching and research at AKU has benefitted from the support of many charitable foundations, trusts and corporate foundations. Grants from foundations and companies have contributed to myriad areas including student scholarships, improving the quality of teaching, innovative research, and medical breakthroughs. 

AKU seeks partnerships with foundations and companies in a range of areas, including: 

  • Support for research and capacity-building

  • Creating named scholarship funds

  • Creating named professorships

  • Sponsorships of student activities

  • Contributing towards capital improvements and facilities 

  • Donation of equipment 

  • Employee matching gift programmes
