Giving to the Graduate School of Media and Communications
Teaching and Faculty Support: Our professors and instructors are the intellectual core of AKU. Their research is generating new knowledge that helps to solve crucial problems. Their teaching is producing new generations of leaders who are dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives.
Research Support: Our research has real-world impact. It saves lives, shapes public discourse and influences policymaking and practice in the public and private sectors. Your support for AKU’s research helps us to positively impact the societies we serve and the wider world.
Financial Aid and Scholarships: There are numerous talented, hardworking and ambitious students who are qualified to attend AKU, but who cannot afford the cost of tuition. Financial aid and scholarships make it possible for them to achieve their dream of attending the University.
Endowment: Endowments provide permanent and secure income that support the priority of your choice. Scholarships for students, faculty salaries, research in a designated field and other priorities can all be supported through the establishment of an endowment or a contribution to an existing endowment. Only a portion of the interest earned on the funds in an endowment is spent each year, ensuring that the funds continue to grow and support your designated priority in perpetuity.
