Giving to The Aga Khan University Hospitals

The Aga Khan University Hospitals and medical centres in Pakistan, East Africa and Afghanistan, provide high-quality health care, as well as clinical training programmes for our Medical Colleges and Schools of Nursing and Midwifery.

Giving Opportunities:

Patient Welfare ProgrammeThe Patient Welfare Programme makes it possible for low-income individuals to receive the medical care they need. You may give an unrestricted gift or support one of our specialised medical funds, which focus on areas such as cancer, paediatrics, congenital heart disease and other non-communicable diseases.

Research Support: Our research has a real-world impact. It saves lives, shapes public discourse and influences policymaking and practice in the public and private sectors. Your support for AKU’s research helps us to positively impact the societies we serve.

Equipment and Facilities:  AKU must continuously invest in the latest medical technologies and equipment and in upgrading its specialist facilities in order the maintain its world-class standards in medical care. Gifts can support the purchase of equipment and ensure that our hospital facilities meet the needs of physicians and patients.

Endowment: Endowments provide permanent income streams that support the priority of your choice. Only a portion of the interest earned on the funds in an endowment is spent each year, ensuring that the funds continue to grow and support your designated priority in perpetuity.
