About Student Experience, Pakistan​

Student-centredness is at the heart of everything we do.

The Office of Student Experience - Pakistan supports students’ professional and personal development at AKU. We work closely with faculty, staff and leadership across all academic entities and departments to foster student engagement and to prepare students to enter society as innovative, collaborative, and compassionate leaders in their fields. ​

The Office of Student Experience is located within Student Affairs department, a one-stop-shop for student services and their overall health and well-being at the University.

What we do

Our mission, vision and strategic objectives highlight the values and ethos of the office​ and defines all our activities. 

Student onboarding and integration: orienting, offering first-year guidance, teaching values, introducing traditions, establishing new networks, supporting peer-to-peer engagement, encouraging brand adoption, and other onboarding and integration strategies. 

​Co-curricular activities: providing support for competitive and recreational sports teams, social clubs, professional associations, arts and entertainment groups, excursions to museums, shops, local schools and other co-curricular activities. 

Cross cultural ​engagement and internationalization: organizing stimulating occasions for students to share their cultures, for collaborative experiential learning, and for engaging in challenging international endeavours.

Leadership development: providing opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, funding opportunities for developmental programming, and supporting students in establishing new initiatives. ​
