Saadia Asad Pathan

Introduction

Saadia Pathan is a researcher, writer, and creative. Her work lies at the intersection of literature, culture, and visual studies. Saadia’s teaching practice prioritises harnessing young people’s innate creativity and curiosity to promote emotional wellbeing and fulfilment. Saadia is a member of the interdisciplinary collective Numaish-Karachi, and was part of the curatorial team for their award-winning open-air exhibition Sheherezade: The Walled City Anthology (Lahore, 2019) in partnership with British Council, WCLA and MadLab. Saadia also freelances for non-profits working to empower young people and is a passionate advocate for animal rights in Pakistan.
