AKU's National and International Partner Initiatives

In 2022, GEO's global engagement strategy has included signing MoUs with various institutions. These agreements give AKU an opportunity to further engage in research, academic training, fellowship programmes, internships and work placements, clinical training, and innovation. GEO seeks partnerships with both national and international partners and is working with the following:

  • Baylor College of Medicine in the field of cardiometabolic disease.
  • The University Partners Network-Princess Margaret Cancer Center for cancer research and mental health.
  • Harvard University for a post-doctoral fellowship program in mental health.
  • Foundation University Islamabad for training and teaching of their nursing faculty and students.

GEO is consistently looking for partnership opportunities that are beneficial for AKU's students, faculty, and staff.
