Undergraduate Student Elective Programme 

Introducing a structured hospital experience programme at Aga Khan University, Stadium Road Campus, Karachi, Pakistan designed for students enrolled in undergraduate programmes.

This programme will equip students with knowledge, skills, and ethical values, helping them to pursue a successful career in healthcare. This will be a 3-week programme comprising of three 1-week rotations in three different specialties. 

Objectives

By the end of the programme, the participants will be:

• Exposed to various clinical and non-clinical specialities and departments, enriching their understanding of the healthcare working environment.

• Provided with opportunities to engage in hands-on activities, simulations, and workshops to develop essential clinical skills and gain confidence in a medical setting.

• Introduced to ethical principles and professional conduct of healthcare professionals, emphasising the importance of empathy, respect, and integrity.

• Facilitated in their career aspirations and provided a platform for networking with healthcare professionals.
