The alumni email address will include the user name in the order it appears on the AKU degree/diploma along with the two digit graduation year and ending with @alumni.aku.edu (e.g. Aisha Salim Khan, Class of 1999: aisha.khan99@alumni.aku.edu, or Joseph Solomon Kamau, Class of 2010: joseph.kamau10@alumni.aku.edu).
In the event a username is already taken, an alternate may be generated utlising the requestor's initials or by flipping the name sequence.
Alumni email addresses have an upper limit of 24 characters (including two-digit graduation year) prior to the @alumni.aku.edu domain.
In case of name changes after graduation or for individuals with multi-part names (eg: first, middle 1, middle 2, last), present/preferred username may be requested, provided it appears in one of the uploaded documents.
