The Programme​​

​This is a two and a half-year programme designed to provide senior registered nurses with an oppo​rt​​unity to upgrade their diploma qualification to degree level. ​

For 2019 admission cycle first round of application is starting from June 24. Candidates are encouraged to apply online. For assistance in completing the online application, you are advised to go through the Frequently ​Asked Questions (FAQs) or Understanding the Online Process

Eligibility Criteria

  • Form IV level of education with a minimum aggregate score of Division IV in the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination

  • Five (5) passes, including two credit passes in Chemistry and Biology and a ‘D’ grade in Physics and English

  • Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery with an average of “B+’’ or GPA of 3.5  awarded by an Institution accredited by the National Council of Technical Education (NACTE) or its equivalent

  • A certificate with Award Verification Number (AVN) as provided by National Council of Technical Education (NACTE)

  • Current license and registration with either Tanzania or Zanzibar Nursing Council

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical care setting as a Registered Nurse

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with a midwifery/psychiatry qualification
