Responsibilities

AKUH invites applications for 1-year Advanced Hands-On Training Program for BS Radiation Therapy graduates. Through this program, you shall gain exposure and training in:

  • Full radiotherapy workflow and simulation of complex/critical patients
  • Custom fabrication of immobilization devices for site-specific treatments
  • External beam RT setups and image-guided delivery (3D-CRT, IMRT/VMAT)
  • Special procedures: CSI, DIBH, TBI
  • Brachytherapy delivery using applicators and interstitial needles
  • TPS dose calculations for 3D-CRT and IMRT/VMAT
  • QC on linacs, simulators, and brachytherapy equipment
  • Radiation protection, policy/procedure development, and research participation

Requirements

You must possess:

  • BS degree (4 years) in Medical Technology, preferably in Radiotherapy, from a recognized university
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Full time employment may be offered upon successful completion of the traineeship program and subject availability of vacant position(s).
