The Institute for Human Development would like to offer recent graduates or those in their final year of studies, a unique opportunity for a research internship placement in ongoing research projects at the department. This research placement will provide interns the opportunity to acquire first-hand practical experience in the field of research. Project topics range from early child education and development, mental health, adolescent health, disabilities, health system, surveillance, statistics, and social sciences. The six-month internship will include supporting a research project with clearly defined roles for the intern, successful completion of selected online courses, participation in scientific activities e.g. seminars and journal clubs, and a written internship report; all components will form part of the student’s evaluation.
Job Summary
The students will work from the IHD offices and subject to field travel depending on the project needs. The studentship will cover a modest stipend towards their accommodation and other living expenses.
