Introduction

Reporting to Administrator Finance, you will be responsible for finance division day to day activities including general accounting, fund management, patient business service department, planning and budgeting and capacity building of the local employees for future expansion and challenges.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities would include, but not limited to:
  • preparing the annual accounts and coordinate with external auditors for annual audit
  • supervising preparation of various monthly management reports
  • reviewing of the monthly payroll processing and ensuring that the salary of local / expatriate staff transfer in their respective bank accounts on the stipulated time and also coordinate with bank and employees in case of any queries
  • supervising the checking, approval of local/foreign currency payments, receipts and journal vouchers as per the authority matrix
  • reviewing of all the monthly schedules and resolved all the outstanding items thereon.
  • ensuring timely deposit of withholding tax deducted within stipulated timeframe to Ministry of Finance account
  • assisting in preparing the annual budget and Long-term projections according the institution mission and vision
  • preparing the funding requirement for operating expenses as well as capital expenses and ensure that the timely funds are available for disbursement
  • reviewing monthly bank reconciliations and making sure that proper internal controls are in place in the institution for all financial transactions
  • preparing the monthly management reports as per the deadlines.

Requirements

  • ACA / ACMA / ACCA / ACIMA or an MBA in Finance from reputable university
  • a minimum of five years working experience in a management position
  • have sound knowledge of overall financial systems
  • be able to multitask and think out of the box
  • possess exemplary interpersonal communication and report writing skills
  • able to motivate team and command respect
  • proficiency in computers especially MS Office, particularly MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint tool is required
  • ability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelines.
