About Safe Disclosure programme at AKU
The AKU Safe Disclosure policy is intended to encourage employees and others to make good faith reports of suspected fraud, harassment, corruption, health, and safety concerns within the University to the Safe Disclosure office. The programme focuses on encouraging all its internal and external stakeholders of AKU to speak up against any kind of wrongdoing that they may witness. Standing up and reporting wrongdoings in our institution helps to improve and strengthen our existing systems and controls, and to uplift our AKU culture to the highest possible ethical standards.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager/Director, the successful candidate will assist the team in maintaining the University’s Safe Disclosure program. He/she will work with the team in various steps of disclosure case handling i.e. from receiving of disclosures, preliminary inquiry, determining case validity, preparing inquiry reports, and refer/coordination of investigation. Additionally, the successful candidate will facilitate periodic reporting of Safe Disclosure program activity to senior management and the oversight Trustee.
