The multidisciplinary Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences based in the Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, strives to deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate education cutting across and integrating the disciplines of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology and Pharmacology. The department is also committed to conducting impactful biomedical research on both communicable and non-communicable disorders, designed to improve the health and well-being of communities at large.
 
The Aga Khan University invites applications for the positions of Assistant Professor/Senior Instructor in Anatomy in the Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:
  • actively participating and contributing to the MBBS, graduate programmes and other academic activities
  • participating in the development, implementation and delivery of student-centered curricula
  • initiating and conducting independent and/or collaborative research projects
  • fully engaging in scholarly activities of the department.

Requirements

You should have:
  • an MPhil or PhD degree in Anatomy or related discipline, preferably with MBBS degree from an HEC recognised or reputable foreign university/institution
  • knowledge of current teaching methodologies
  • strong commitment to, and track record of research as evidenced by publications, preferably in journals of international repute.
