You will be responsible to prepare food for hospital patients, employees, students and special occasions, report food safety and other complaints and issues to the concerned.
Specifically, you will be responsible to:
- ensure food quality, texture and flavor of patient and non-patient meals as per the set standards
- cook food and prepare hot entrees, as per the daily menu with standardized recipes or as directed
- ensure safe usage of equipment and regularly monitor their need for equipment repairs
- ensure workstations and cooking equipment are clean as per the standards followed
- clean and maintain hygiene and sanitation of kitchen areas as per the set standards.
