Aga Khan University (AKU) was chartered in 1983 as Pakistan's first private international university. Its Faculty of Health Sciences was planned with the support of Harvard University, McGill University and McMaster University, and presently includes a Medical College and a School of Nursing, which are located together with their principal teaching site, the Aga Khan University Hospital, on an 84-acre campus in Karachi, Pakistan.

You will be responsible to:

• dust all horizontal surfaces that collect dust on a daily basis to ensure cleanliness of assigned areas (Dusting)
• empty dustbins and clear other trash
• clean bathrooms including metal and porcelain fixtures
• wipe all furniture using a damp cloth. (Sanitizing)
• dry and wet mop floors, both indoor & outdoor. (Floor dusting / Sanitizing)
• clean patient's bed in the observation room and in clinics as per need 
• vacuum carpets and clean spots on the same when assigned
• clean walls and windows when assigned
• inform supervisor if any wear and tear is found in assigned area to ensure follow-up from MEP, Civil and Electrical etc. departments
• attend to emergency cleaning complaints when required.
