The Department of Radiology offers a comprehensive range of highly sophisticated imaging tests and procedures that are conducted in a welcoming environment that focuses on quality and patient comfort. The diagnostic services are supported by advanced, state-of-the-art technologies like 3T MRI, 640 slice CT, Mammography, Bone density, Nuclear Imaging, Interventional services, general x-rays, etc. The department is dedicated to patient services and imaging excellence through highest professional and technological standards. The department maintains state-of-the-art technology imaging services to provide our physicians and patients with the most accurate, timely and informative results.
Major duties and responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to the following:
- administration of Intramuscular & Intravenous injections and N.G. and G.I. tubes as advised by the radiologist.
- assistance during ultrasound examinations, where and when required.
- storage, administration and record keeping of medications.
- preparation and maintenance of instrument trolleys and sterility for special procedures as specified.
- record maintenance of instruments, catheters guide wires and other accessories in the department and timely requisition of replacements.
- terminal cleaning of the rooms after examination/ procedure of infectious patients.
