Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:
  • read prescriptions and dental impressions to design prostheses
  • fabricate, alter, and repair dental devices such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances
  • prepare and test prosthetic devices for accuracy and conformance
  • work with porcelain, metals, acrylic, and digital systems to create dental prostheses
  • operate CAD/CAM systems and 3D printers for advanced digital dentistry applications
  • ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols in the dental laboratory
  • supervise and train junior dental technicians as may be required
  • coordinate periodically with the Dental store to ensure adequate materials and supplies.

Requirements

You should have:
  • at least Intermediate certificate with relevant Diploma / Certificate in Dental Technology while having a Bachelor’s degree will be preferred
  • at least five years years of experience including at least two years as a Lead Dental Technician, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • excellent skills  in digital dentistry (CAD/CAM, 3D printing)
  • good interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills (English and Urdu preferred)
  • ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
  • commitment to infection control and laboratory safety protocols
  • ability to effective work independently as well as with multidisciplinary teams.
