The Department of Surgery provides comprehensive and sub-specialty care in the areas of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Dental-Oral, Maxillo-facial Surgery, General Surgery, Breast Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology and Vascular Surgery.

This is a grant-funded contractual position.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:
  • recruitment of study participants
  • collection, management and analysis of data for the project including clinical data and MRI brain scans
  • acquisition, extraction, anonymization and pre-processing of MRI scans
  • literature search and manuscript writing for original articles, reports and reviews
  • arranging and managing meetings within the group and with external collaborators/parties
  • preparing presentations for conferences, research group meetings and similar events.

Requirements

You should have:
  • an MBBS degree
  • experience in radiology/neurology will be preferred
  • good understanding of neurological examination
  • competency in MS Office, especially data management on MS Excel
  • effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
