Introduction

The Aga Khan University Hospital in addition to its five Hospitals creates access through its Outreach Services which include Clinical Laboratories, Outpatient Medical Centres, Pharmacy services, Home Health and other services. Outreach Services are designed to provide primary to secondary healthcare services to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan. Outpatient Medical Centres offer a range of specialty clinics including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and Physiotherapy, and cater to children, adults, and elderly patients for general health checks or specific disease consultations.

Responsibilities

  • You will have an independent consultant status for patient care.  
  • You will also be expected to primarily provide services in Rheumatology. 
  • In Professional service, managing both common and unfamiliar problems with such proficiency as to be accepted by peers for consultation. 
  • Willingness to be a part of our revenue-sharing model as a part-timer.

Requirements

  • FCPS, MRCP,MD or equivalent (Rheumatology )
  • 3 Years Post fellowship experience in a tertiary care hospital
  • excellent clinical skills
  • excellent teaching and training skills
  • ability to satisfy and retain patients in clinical practice
  • S/he must be registered or eligible for registration with PMDC
  • S/he should have 1-year experience working as a Rheumatologist
  • A minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.
