His Highness the Aga Khan has long emphasized cancer as a core theme of health sciences in the University’s vision and mission, exclusively dedicating the Ibn Zuhr building to cancer/hematology services since 2005. ​ The Department has to offer a spectrum of oncology and hematology-related services.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Data Collector in the Department of Oncology.

You will be responsible for:

• conducting in-depth qualitative interviews on an audio recorder and then transcribing and later translating the data
• managing data collection at the outpatient clinic to ensure effective use of time
• facilitating meetings among the research teams and training research staff on research, interviewing, and proper data collection skills
• following and ensuring field implementation of project-related SOPs and guidelines as defined in the research project
• writing independently detailed notes on interviews 
• any other task assigned by the supervisor.
