You will be responsible to carry out day-to-day operations such as receiving, storage, preservation, handling, issuance, charging of supplies to departments / patient care areas as per organizational safety and quality standards.
Specific responsibilities include:
- receiving, storing, issuing and distributing supplies to departments/patient care areas
- assisting in maintaining adequate supply levels in the Distribution Centers
- reporting any discrepancy and/or damages to the supervisor
- communicating any low and out of stock items
- updating the supervisor with an update on regular basis
- recording transactions manually/electronically in a timely manner
- following operational, safety and quality procedures, as per Safety & Security guidelines
- ensuring smooth handover/takeover at the time of changing shifts
- maintaining a high standard of customer service
- developing new ideas to improve distribution quality and efficiency
- maintaining a clean work area, being responsible for routine cleaning and keeping supply storage locations orderly
- following institutional policies related to functional responsibilities, code of ethics, discipline, acceptance of gifts, anti-fraud and other HR-related policies.
