Introduction

The Aga Khan University Hospital is a Joint Commission International Accredited tertiary care hospital. It is a philanthropic, not-for-profit, private institution committed to provide exemplary high quality health care. 

 

We are inviting applications for the Clinical Laboratory Technologist Training Programme, 2022 for our laboratories in the following cities:

 

•          Faisalabad

•          Hyderabad

•          Karachi

•          Lahore

•          Multan

•          Peshawar

•          Quetta

•          Rawalpindi

•          Sukkur

 

The selection process includes written assessments and interviews of shortlisted candidates. Written assessments will be conducted in Karachi, Lahore and Gilgit -Baltistan Centres (Hunza & Chitral).  A stipend will be paid during the training programme.

Responsibilities

You will be required to undergo a one-year training programme, which includes classroom lectures and bench-side training to provide in-depth knowledge of Blood Bank, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Histopathology, Microbiology and Molecular Pathology.

Requirements

You should have a BSc/BS/MSc degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or an equivalent qualification such as BS/MSc in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Physiology or a relevant degree in clinical diagnostics,  with a minimum of First Division or CGPA of 2.5, preferably acquired during the last two years.

The trainees who successfully complete the traineeship programme will be offered jobs in any of the above laboratories located in the mentioned cities, subject to availability of vacant positions.
