Liaquat H Merchant serves as a director of Habib Asset Management Limited. He is the founder and managing partner of Liaquat Merchant Associates. Mr Merchant was Pakistan's former Deputy Attorney General and was appointed as administrator of the estate of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah by the Sindh High Court in 1980. He was also made a trustee of the Quaid-i-Azam Aligarh Education Trust in 1984.
