Dr Natia Esiashvili

Dr Natia Esiashvili leads Paediatric Radiation Oncology programme at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University and Emory Proton Therapy Center. She is General Secretary of International Paediatric Radiation Oncology Society (PROS) and has been leading the International Society of Paediatric Oncology’s committee on Paediatric Oncology in Developing Countries (SIOP-PODC). Both Emory & AKU faculty has been delivering talks for advancing radiation treatment for children.
Dr Esiashvili has more than seventy PubMed cited publications and has contributed to multiple book chapters. She has developed radiotherapy guidelines for several clinical trials for Children’s Oncology Group. She has been pivotal in academically connecting AKU & Emory University’s Paediatric Radiation oncology for our mutual peer reviewed practice projects after October 2017 visit of AKU faculty to Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta.
