Dr Annie Huang 
MD, PhD FRCP; Professor of Paediatric Neuro-oncology, Staff Neuro-oncologist, The Hospital for Sick Children, Canada; Chair, Rare Brain Tumor Consortium

Dr Annie Huang is Professor of Paediatric Neuro-oncology in the Paediatric Brain Tumour Programme at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto where she also holds appointments as Senior Scientist in Cell Biology, and Principal Investigator at the Arthur and Sonia Labatt Brain Tumor Research Centre. She is also the Chair of rare childhood brain tumor Consortium. She developed two major programmes over the last 12 years to: 
  1. Define the role of the Myc oncogene in EBT progression 
  2. Define the biology of poorly-studied, rare EBTs of childhood (Biology of rare “orphan” embryonal brain tumours)
