​Abstract submission

Submission Guidelines:

​Please read the Abstract Submission Guidelines before submitting the form.

  • Abstracts should include case reports, case series, original research (randomized controlled trial RCT, meta-analysis of RCT, case control study, cohort study, observational study with statistical support, etc.), or a systematic review article
  • Abstracts should be submitted only in English
  • Abstracts should be properly structured to include background, methodology, results, and conclusion
  • Maximum six (6) authors are allowed for each abstract
  • The total number of characters allowed for each submission is 250 words
  • Please include upto 5 key words. Trade names are not allowed
  • You may submit more than one abstract
  • Abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be accepted, without exception
  • The decision of the Scientific Committee on abstract acceptance is final
  • Deadline for submission of abstracts: November 30,​ 2019

​Further notes:

  • ​Successful authors will receive a notification of acceptance by December 15, 2019.

  •  Authors whose abstracts are accepted must register for the Conference before December 25, 2019. Failure to do so will result in exclusion of abstract from the programme.

  • Top 30 abstracts selected will be published in a special edition of the Journal of Pakistan Medical Association.

  • Top 3 abstracts will be selected for oral presentation. 

  • ​Awards will be given for the best oral and poster presentations
