Surgical Education and Training: Developing Standard​s​

​​​Although the basic principles of surgical education and training across the globe are almost the same, standards may vary between developed and developing countries due to many factors. ​​​​​​

The 6th AKU Annual Surgical Conference will explore tools and develop methodologies to improve surgical education and training programmes, considering the availability of expertise, resources and technology, in low- and middle-income countries.  

The theme of the conference is 'Surgical Education and Training: Developing Standards'. ​

Organised by the AKU Medical College's Department of Surgery from March 5-7, 2021 in Karachi, the conference will bring together national and international experts, providing them a platform to exchange ideas and learn from each other
