Programme Highlights
This course will provide you with an opportunity to:
  • develop an understanding of the philosophy and important features of project-based learning;
  • design learning projects for your own classroom; and 
  • develop rubrics for assessment of your students’ project work.
Programme Facilitator
Ms Raana Jilani is a faculty member at AKU-IED. She is currently pursuing a PhD in TESOL from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA and her dissertation proposes to explore the issues in language assessment in Pakistan. She has taught English in both Pakistan and USA. Prior to joining IED, she worked at the AKU Examination Board, where she designed and ran a large-scale formative assessment programme.
