Who can attend?
The programme is designed for policy makers, management professionals from NGOs, academics, education experts, school heads and teacher educators. 
Participants can opt to register for the entire 16-week programme or choose to enroll in one or both of the following components as stand-alone course(s).  
  • Human Resource Management and Development 
  • Financial Management 
Programme Highlights  
The course will provide you with an opportunity to: 
  • critically analyse leadership and management theories and reflect on your own leadership style to acquire relevant knowledge, skills, values and attitudes; 
  • understand the importance of using emotional intelligence to create an environment for productive work relationships and respond to difficult and challenging situations; 
  • build a range of skills to effectively deal with challenges facing leaders and managers;
  • develop strategies to create a collaborative work environment through effective decision making, delegation, staff motivation and effectively managing workplace conflict; 
  • enhance your skills and understanding of professional development and performance management of staff; 
  • get an orientation on financial management; and
  • critically reflect on the relevance and implication of the newly acquired knowledge and skills on teaching and learning and overall institutional improvement initiatives in your own contexts.
